Used Bukh DV36 36HP Keel Cooled Narrowboat Engine
Used Bukh DV36 RME 36hp Three Cylinder Keel Cooled Marine Diesel Engine Package Including Gearbox, Control Panel & Loom. Propellers, shafts and couplings to suit are also available at extra cost. This is the current model, and still sold today. We have a selection of these units available, all removed from ships lifeboats and as such all have run less than 250hrs from new and been very well maintained. In many cases these engines will have run less than 100hrs from new!! They have also been running on closed circuit cooling so have never even tasted salt water. These engines are specially built for skin tank and keel cooling systems so make ideal replacement engines for narrowboats, offering a traditional engine design and yet still a current model engine at a fraction of the new cost. They have all been test run in our workshops, serviced, cleaned, painted and are ready to drop in and use.
