Description
Used Mitsubishi Kilo-Pak 20KW Single Phase Marine Generator Set With Perkins 4.182 4 Cylinder Naturally Aspirated Engine. Currently set at 1800rpm / 60hz US specification but could be reduced to 1500rpm / 50hz for European specification. We have a matching pair of these units recently removed from a super yacht to be replaced with larger units. They were fitted new in 1998 and fully rebuilt in Holland in 2013 having only run 1500hrs since. One unit is fitted with a bracket for a PTO which originally ran a hydraulic thruster unit, the other is not.
They are keel cooled configuration but with the addition of a belt driven seawater pump, a tubestack for the bowman manifolds and an exhaust mixer elbow, they could easily be converted to heat exchanger cooling and indeed were offered in that configuration as an option when new. They were in full working order when removed and are offered as running takeouts as pictured.
