Description
Used Volvo Penta TAMD41B 197hp Six Cylinder Turbo Aftercooled Heat Exchanger Cooled Bobtail Marine Diesel Engine. We had a pair of these engines available one now sold, previously supplied by us in July 2023 to a regular client for a project which has now been cancelled due to the vessel requiring much more work than originally envisaged. The engines were tested by our workshops with any required repairs or renewals carried out before being fully stripped to bare metal for a complete re-paint. Our records indicate running hours when we supplied them were circa 2600 and they have not been installed since we supplied them. The only oddity with these engines is that they are running 24V electrics. They can be converted to 12V at additional cost if required or if you are replacing existing TAMD41 engines, simply swap over the starter, alternator, relays and sensors to return them to 12V.
