Stihl RZ 152 52in Zero Turn Mower – Residential, Hydrostatic

Description

Cutting up to 3.5 acres per hour, the Stihl RZ 152 52in zero turn mower powers through thick estate turf without engine bog. Suburban property owners face constant frustration when lightweight stamped decks scalp undulating lawns or choke in dense morning grass. This 52-inch zero-turn machine combines an 11-gauge fabricated steel deck with a commercial-grade V-twin engine, delivering clean turf striping at forward speeds up to 7 MPH.

Dual Hydro-Gear hydrostatic transaxles provide responsive steering control, tracking straight along property borders and executing clean zero-radius pivots around landscaping beds. The deep fabricated deck pulls air upward, lifting limp grass blades for a crisp, level cut across manicured turf. A convenient height adjustment pin paired with a foot-assist pedal allows operators to adjust cutting height across distinct positions with minimal physical effort.

Key Engineering Features of Stihl RZ 152

• 52-Inch Fabricated 11-Gauge Steel Deck: Built with welded steel plate construction and a reinforced bullnose edge to deflect yard debris.
• Commercial-Grade V-Twin Engine: Supplies high rotational torque displacement to maintain blade tip speed in wet turf.
• Hydro-Gear Sealed Hydrostatic Transaxles: Delivers maintenance-free ground drive control up to 7 MPH forward speed.
• Foot-Operated Mechanical Deck Lift: Uses leg leverage to lift the cutting deck over roots and driveway curbs without arm strain.
• Heavy Welded Tubular Steel Chassis: Resists frame distortion to maintain accurate deck leveling over rolling terrain.
• Plush High-Back Ergonomic Seat: Thick foam cushioning provides comfort and spine support during long cutting sessions.

Field Durability & Operational Economy

Built for large residential properties and estate grounds, this 52-inch mower delivers wide-area cutting stamina with minimal upkeep.

• A heavy welded 11-gauge deck handles continuous mowing on multi-acre properties without cracking deck weld seams.
• The clean-burning V-twin engine features cast-iron cylinder liners that resist heat wear during midsummer afternoon mowing.
• Sealed transaxle technology eliminates hydraulic fluid changes, providing hassle-free operation season after season.

Acreage Productivity & Trailer Packing

Covering up to 3.5 acres per hour at 7 MPH forward speed, this 52-inch machine requires 56 inches of trailer deck width with the discharge chute raised, fitting neatly onto standard single-axle landscape trailers.
